Prior to joining ELAF Bank, Helmi was the Head of Treasury and Capital Markets at Bank Muamalat Malaysia responsible for the first Islamic Profit Rate Swap and Islamic Cross Currency Swap transactions. He was also in charge of the Bank's Labuan offshore branch, during the conversion of Labuan Offshore Financial Services Authority (LOFSA) to MIFC status.

Helmi holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Manchester, UK.

Mr. Hussam Saif joined Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB) in March 2007 and has extensive experience in treasury and Islamic banking spanning approximately 20 years. Prior to joining KHCB, he was with Arab Banking Corporation in the Treasury and Marketable Securities Department.
