Prior to his appointment as Head of Investments & Treasury in 2008, Fadhel was Head of Brokerage at SICO for five years, during which time he managed a number of record-breaking transactions on the Bahrain Stock Exchange.

Before this, he worked for a number of leading financial institutions including Investcorp and Chemical Bank (now JPM Morgan Chase).

Fadhel holds an MBA from Glamorgan University, UK.

Is a licensed broker on the Amman Stock Exchange, Dubai Financial Market, Abu Dhabi Financial Market & NASDAQ Dubai.

A highly experienced professional with exposure to treasury, foreign exchange, money market, capital markets, equity and bullion having spent over 30 years in a variety of different market roles including with Saudi Hollandi Bank, Dubai Holding, Barclays Private Banking as well as running his own company, Financial Market Strategies.

Has been a visiting lecturer at the Institute of Banking (IoB) at the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency in Riyadh, and at the Emirates Institute of Banking and Financial Studies (EIBFS) at Sharjah, UAE.
